As the first two product providing support for the PCI-E Interface Standard in the ME Family, they have experienced great enhancement in performance, in addition to the features of complete modules and full functionality. By connecting with the high-speed data bus through PCI-E, ME400e and ME500e are capable of handling data with a larger bandwidth, not only effectively lifting work efficiency but helping reduce the overall ownership costs. ME500e also offers a widely-used HD multimedia digital interface for HD devices, with which users are allowed to connect the NLE system with equipment installed with HDMI interfaces, such as pre-production recorders, HD display devices and others. It makes possible synchronous transfer of uncompressed HD video and multi-track audio data with high quality, maximally at a speed of 5Gb/s, which can fully meet the requirement for HD digital broadcasting and ensure HD AV signal transfer at high quality and full high definition (1920×1080). Furthermore, both ME400e and ME500e have integrated the 5.1 surrounding audio output.
